Why do I need to submit receipts – can I just make a stat dec if I don’t have them?

We require proof of your incidents and incurred costs, in order to pay your claim. You can provide proof in the way of:

  • Payment receipts or invoices showing paid amounts – under our policies, stat decs don’t count as proof of ownership
  • Official reports (e.g. police reports, hospital reports)
  • Statements from companies like airlines, hotels
  • Bank statements
