What If I am Pregnant?

Created on

Tick Travel Insurance covers claims for complications arising from pregnancy or childbirth only. A qualified medical practitioner will need to confirm that your claim is related to a pregnancy or childbirth complication. A total list of covered complications can be found on Page 46 of your PDS.

If you purchase a policy with Tick Travel Insurance and then become pregnant, you can cancel your trip and claim if:

  • Your doctor says you are not fit to travel due to pregnancy complications
  • You will reach your 32nd week of pregnancy (for single pregnancies) at the start of or during your trip
  • You will reach your 26th week of pregnancy (for multiple pregnancies) at the start of or during your trip
